Walk a dining room at 6 p.m. and you know in ten seconds whether the soundtrack is helping. Too loud and tables stop talking. Too random and the room feels like a phone in someone's pocket.
SyncPoint is commercially cleared background music for one restaurant or café location. Web player. No app. Streaming from $14.95/month.

What this page is for
This is the restaurant setup: lunch, dinner, the quiet hour before doors, a patio that is a second zone. The long operational read is Music solutions for restaurants. Pricing and checkout: pricing.
The dining-room problem
A manager's phone will take a call, die, or wander into the kitchen. Consumer Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube accounts are licensed for private listening, not the floor. If you need the rights map, start with Spotify for business and ASCAP, BMI & SESAC explained.
SyncPoint covers our catalog as background / ambient playback at the licensed location. It does not cover karaoke, live covers, DJs of other catalogs, TVs, or a personal playlist on the spare Bluetooth speaker. See licensing.
Streaming for service hours
If internet at the host stand is solid, a subscription is the set-and-forget path.
- Secure web player on a tablet, mini PC, or smart display you already own
- Genre station, 24/7, ad-free on Server
- Syncpoint Media Server $14.95/month — one site license
- Server Pro $21.95/month — custom genre and optional ads
- Extra dining rooms, patios, or a second address: site-license add-ons (card prices on pricing) — do not stretch one login across doors
Lunch, dinner, and close can share one cleared station. Volume still belongs to the floor manager, not the playlist.
Packs when Wi-Fi is the weak station
Plenty of rooms already have an amp and a player that takes files. Music Packs are one-time ZIPs, commercially licensed for background playback at one physical location. They fit unreliable Wi-Fi, a known brunch loop, or a backup when the stream is down.
A 30- or 60-minute pack will not cover a twelve-hour Saturday by itself. Stream for the day; pack for the gap. Holiday Music Pack Volume 1 is on the packs page if you want a seasonal bed in one room.
What "legal here" means for a restaurant
You can play SyncPoint music in the licensed dining room without a separate PRO license for that SyncPoint music. If you also run karaoke night, a cover band, or a staff phone on aux, those sources are a different conversation. We will not pretend a web player closes that file.
